Summary
The Pharmacy Technician is part of an integral pharmacy team providing the best patient care. The Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of a Pharmacist, providing technical knowledge, skill and expertise required for the provision of comprehensive pharmaceutical care that supports the mission, values and philosophy of Pharmacy Services and Sharp HealthCare.
This is a float pool position through Staffing Resource Network (SRN).  The SRN department offers opportunities to experience a wide range of patient care at various sites within Sharp HealthCare. Sharp promotes quality patient-family centered care in a team environment with excellent customer service. This position requires an enthusiastic, positive individual willing to be a part of a dynamic float pool servicing all of Sharp HealthCare.

Essential Physical Requirements may include:

  • Sitting
  • Keyboarding
  • Mousing
  • Lift up to 25 pounds
  • Push/pull up to 50 pounds
  • Carry up to 25 pounds
This position is located in Kearny Mesa. This position requires floating throughout the Sharp HealthCare system within San Diego County.
 
Hours
8 hours shifts, weekends as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent program.
  • Current unencumbered CA Pharmacy Technician licensure
  • Current one (1) year current inpatient/outpatient Pharmacy Technician experience
